Day 1 - Khama Rhino Sanctuary, Serowe, Botswana
We cross into Botswana and camp for first night at Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Serowe. (D)

Day 2 - Maun, Botswana
We head to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. (B,D)

Day 3 and 4 - Okavango Delta
We head into the wilderness of the Delta, exploring the pristine waterways by mokoro (dug out canoe) and search for wildlife on game walks. We return to Maun on the last afternoon. You also have the option of a game flight over the Delta, (B,L,D)

Stage highlights: Exploring the channels in the delta by mokoro is a experience never to be forgotten.

Day 5 - Chobe National Park, Botswana
Leaving Maun we head north to Kasane and camp on the edge of the Chobe National Park. Time is spent relaxing or enjoying an optional cruise on the Chobe River. (B,D)

Day 6, 7 and 8 - Livingstone/ Victoria Falls, Zambia
At daybreak we venture on an open vehicle game drive in Chobe Park. Crossing into Zambia by ferry, we head to Livingstone and our campsite. In Livingstone we do a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Time is spent at your leisure taking in the stunning scenery of Victoria Falls or brasving the many optional activities on offer - white water rafting, bungee njumping, canoeing, microlighting and more. Day 9 - Luangwa Bridge
We head northwards through rural Zambia to spend the night on the banks of the Luangwa River. We enjoy the magnificent sunset over the river while we relax at the campsite bar. (B,L,D)

Day 10 - Lilongwe, Malawi
We make our way through Zambia into Malawi "the warm heart of Africa". We spend the afternoon exploring the colourful and vibrant markets of Lilongwa, experiencing the cultural blend of ancient and modern Africa. (B,L,D)

Day 11, 12, & 13 - Lake Malawi.
Setting up camp on the shores of Lake Malawi, our time is spent exploring this large fresh water lake. Snorkelling and scuba diving give us an opportunity to discover the 500 species of colourful tropical fish. Meeting the locals will confirm for us why Malawi is known as the land of smiles and laughter. (B,D)

Day 14- Blantyre, Malawi
After breakfast we head southwards to the town of Blantyre, named after the birthplace of David Livingstone. The town of Lilongwe is the crossroads to Mozambique. (B,D)

Day 16 - Chimoio, Mocambique
Crossing into Mozambique we discover a land which has largely stayed untouched by modern day development, giving the traveller an opportunity to escape into the recent past. We camp in the small town of Chimoio. (B,L,D)

Days 16, 17 & 18 - Vilanculos, Mocambique
Vilanculos is a tropical paradise set in unspoilt beaches of sea, sun, and white sands. This area has exceptional beaches washed by the Indian ocean's warm Mozambique current. You can take an optional trip to the Bazaruto Archipeligo islands, do a water-based activity or just relax on the beaches. (B,D)

Days 19 and 20 - Inhambane and Tofo, Mocambique
We travel South along the coast to Inhambane and then camp in the coastal village of Tofo. You spend time at leisure and may enjoy sipping cocktails at one of the many beach bars or walking along the white beaches or deep sea fishing or quad biking or scuba diving or snorkelling. (B,D)

Day 21 - Maputo, Mozambique
Leaving the peace and tranquility of the beach behind, we continue on to the bustling capital city of Maputo where we have the afternoon to explore the city and its rich cultural history. With its attractive tree-lined avenues it has a unique European feel about it and it has some great local restaurants. (B)

Days 22 & 23 - Kruger National Park, South Africa.
We make our way to the famous Kruger National Park where we enter at one of the Southern gates. The scenery and wild life will leave you in awe. We take time to enjoy the game drives, searching for the wide diversity of game in this famous park. We spend the evenings camping inside the park, listening to the sounds of the bush with its game. You can go on an optional night drive. (B,D)

Day 24 - Johannesburg, Souh Africa
After a final early morning game drive we leave the Kruger Park and take a relaxed drive back to Johannesburg and Gauteng. We arrive in Johannesburg in the late afternoon. (B)
