Kruger National Park 4-day

Day 1 Kruger National Park

Departing Johannesburg head straight for the Kruger National Park which we enter at one of the Southern gates. The afternoon is spent game viewing while we make our way to our permanent campsite. We arrive in time for an open vehicle night drive in the Park to see the noctural activities of the animals. We then enjoy a dinner around the camp fire (D)

Scenic drive through Mpumalanga to the Kruger with its many animals.

Stage duration:1 day

Day 2 - Kruger Park, South Africa

At sunrise we continue our game drives in search of the 150 species of mammals, 507 species of birds, and 106 species of reptiles that inhabit the Kruger National Pasrk. We stop at various waterholes and view sites en route to the next campsite. We enjoy a dinner around the camp fire. (B,L,D)

Stage duration:1 day

Day 3 - Kruger Park,, Cheetah Project and Cultural Village

At sunrise we depart our campsite and look for the animals we have missed before. We explore the central Kruger and depart the Kruger after lunch and enter the surrounding greater Kruger area with its animals and sights. We dive to the Cheetah Research Centre. Here we can view and touch the Cheetahs and see the wild dogs. This is an experience not to be missed. From here we travel to the Shangaan tribal village. Here we learn of the Shangaan culture eat a meal with them, see their dancing and the sleep in the traditional huts for the night (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Panoramic Route

We ascend the escarpment and make our way along the panoramic route which offers some of the most stunning scenery that South Africa has to offer. We travel along the Drakensberg Escarpment and visit various scenic sites including the Blyde River Canyon, the Three Rondavels, Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's window. We depart thjis magnificent area and travel back to Johannesburg. (B)

All trips in this brochure include the services of an experienced Wagon Trails driver / guide, camping equipment (2 man dome tents & hiking mats), mobile safari kitchen, camping fees, all ground transportation and meals per itinerary.
