14 Day Cape Town to Vic Falls Tour

Day 1 - Orange River

Travel North from Cape Town past Cederberg Mountain Range to the vistas of Namaqualand. We camp on the banks of the Orange River. (D)

Day 2 - Fish River Canyon

In Namibia we head for the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. Camp on brink of Canyon. Walking trail into canyon optional. Watch sunset over the canyon and camp under the stars. (B,D)

Days 3 & 4 - Sesriem

Sesriem is situated on the edge of the vast Namib desert. We visit the ancient Sesriem canyon and the famous dunes of Sossusvlei. These dunes are some of the World's highest dunes - See if you can make it to the top! (B,L,D)

Days 5 & 6 - Swakopmund.

We travel through the Namib-Naukluft Park and view some of the amazing scenery. The lunar landscape appears as we approach the coast. Swakopmund is an oasis coastal town with a strong German influence. There are many options available to you, such as deep-sea fishing, visiting a seal colony, quad biking or sand boarding. The evenings are free to enjoy a plentiful nightlife. (B)

Day 7 - Cheetah Farm.

We proceed to the Cheetah Farm where we camp next to the cheetah enclosure. We have the unique chance to see many of these majestic animals up close. (B,L,D)

Days 8 & 9 - Etosha

Etosha is ranked as one of Africa's great game parks and is home to a large population of many animals. The saline Etosha Pan stretches for 120 km and is a sanctuary for the largest population of Black Rhino in the world. Our days are spent game viewing, bird watchingand taking in the superb scenery of bthis arid bregion. (B,L,D)

Day 10

Leaving Etosha we head north east to Ngepi and camp on the banks of the Okavango River. (B,L,D)

Days 11 & 12 - Delta Panhandle

From Ngepi we cross into Botswana to the North-West Delta. The next 2 days are spent exploring the waterways of the Okavango Delta by motorboat and mokoro (2 man dugout canoes)or optional activities. We also have the option of camping wild on one of the islands in the Delta. (B,L,D)

Day 13 - Livingstone, Zambia.

Leaving Botswana we head through the bCaprivi Strip and cross the Zambezi River into Zambia. We travel to Livingstone, the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls and enjoy a Sunset cruise on Zambesi River. The evening is spent enjoying the nightlife of Livingstone. (B)

Day 14 - Livingstone

We explore the moghty Victoria Falls before bidding farewell to our fellow travellers and spending the rest of the day in the various optional activities on offer in the adrenalin capital of Africa. (B)
