INTRODUCTION

NOMADS ADVENTURE TOURS - THE COMPANY.
Nomad Adventure Tours are an established company offering tours in and around Southern Africa. Being a small company they are able to afford you the utmost in individual care and attention and pride themselves that their vehicles, equipment and staff are of the highest quality.

Simply put, they are big enough to offer backup and reliability but small enough to provide personal attention to all their clients.

Nomads Adventure Tours are fully licensed and insured and are confident that they are offering some of the best tours available in Southern Africa.

NOMAD ADVENTURE TOURS - THEIR PHILOSOPHY.
Nomad originated with a simple philosophy: Do it better and do it for less. This philosophy is still a driving force behind all that they do today.

Nomads Overland Adventure tours consider themselves to be a new breed of overland company that strives to offer an exciting and informative tour without the negative environmental impact that occurred previously.

They tread carefully in the areas they visit having as little impact as possible on the regions and people we visit.

Being Africans and situated locally Nomads feel equipped to offer you the best Africa has to offer and our finger is firmly placed on the pulse of the continent and this ensures that the best possible options are selected for each and every tour.

BIG ENOUGH TO COUNT ON, SMALL ENOUGH TO CARE.
The Nomad employment scheme is aimed at locals and you can be assured that a large proportion of the money you spend with them goes directly into the countries you will be visiting.

Nomad Adventure Tours are 100 % committed to eco-tourism and support the ideals of environmental organizations and concerns, regularly donating to various causes.

Read on further if you would like a more detailed description of our tours and the equipment we are using. We have also included numerous photographs to give you a preview of what you will be seeing.

Feel free to book or make an enquiry using our online reservation or enquiry button if you want to book or need further information.

"The food was of a suprisingly high quality. The experience was awesome. I would join the tour again given me the chance." - Rosie Holcroft: Suffolk, England.

LIFE ON A NOMAD TOUR - THE CREW.
Nomad is happy to announce that our crew conforms to the highest standards possible. Our selection process and training ensure that our people put 100% into each and every tour.

THE GROUPS.
Generally our groups range in age from about 18 - 35 and there is usually an equal male to female ratio. Our clients are usually composed of many nationalities and are most likely to be made up of broad minded individuals with a spirit of adventure and a zest for life.

THE MORNINGS.
An average day begins around 7am when you are woken up to enjoy breakfast. We pack up and set off around 8 to 8:30 am.

PARTICIPATION.
You will be pleased to know that on our tours your participation in camp chores is of a very limited nature. All that we require is that you assist in the washing up duties and that you put up and take down your own tent. We do the rest.

If you wish to assist to a greater degree you are most welcome.

MEALS AND COOKING.
Unlike other tours we do all the cooking and there is no food kitty. Included in the tour price are three hearty meals a day (unless otherwise specified), plenty of tea, coffee and fruit juice. Vegetarians are most welcome and will be pleasantly surprised by our varied menu for them.

PHOTOGRAPHY.
On tour you will have ample opportunity to take brilliant scenic, social and wildlife photographs.

However, please note that photography is a sensitive issue in many areas so please take care when in the surrounds of government buildings and military installations.

"The last three weeks have probably been the best three weeks of my life." - Ed Blake: West Sussex, UK.
