Funky Monkeys is an international backpacker hostel situated in the heart of the Lowveld and close to the Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, Swaziland and Mozambique. Arty, spacious and fun: This cozy home away from home offers all the facilities needed including, internet, laundry, secure parking, delicious home cooked meals and a wicked travel centre to help you plan your stay. Funky Safaris, our sister company, will take you on one-three day safaris into the world renowned Kruger Park. We have our own FULLY equiped tented camp in the Kruger and all safaris are done in our Open Game Viewing Vehicles so you get to experience the sights, smells and sounds of the African Bush to the fullest!

Directions.
From JHB, take the N4 straight down to Nelspruit. Take the 3rd traffic light right onto R40.1st light left into Piet Retief.Over roundabout. Over 4-way stop. Right into Van Wijk Street. We are two km on the right.
