Africa Centre has very friendly staff and offers clean, safe and peaceful accommodation.

Your Home from Home: -
Our buzzy new mansion house of Africa Centre is situated in a safe neighbourhood just 5 min from the airport. Our hostel has a wide range of rooms, some with a balcony overlooking the huge garden, a refreshing swimming pool, and a trampoline.

Facilities@Africa Centre: -
The attractive bar with steam sauna just around the corner and Jacuzzi five steps outside the door is a great place to chill out and get into a game of pool. Africa Centre also has Internet facilities and satellite TV and video’s for the more relaxed traveller. We also have a braai (barbeque) area, Laundry facilities, free luggage storage and self-catering kitchen, although we can serve meals by arrangement.

We are close to shopping malls (free drop off and pick up), two shopping centres and bird sanctuary walking distance, nightlife and a large fleamarket as well as game food restaurants, Caesars Casino, Golfclub, water-ski and waterworld. The lodge is close to two square centres with 5 minutes walk and two shopping malls "Eastrand Mall" and "Lakeside Mall" with a wide range of shops and curiors. We offer a FREE drop-off and pick-up service to these malls.

One of the best Flea Markets in Jo'burg is just up the road in Boksburg. Here you can find many African traders from around the continent selling their artwork. The Home Industry in South Africa also has a lot to offer. From finely crafted walking sticks and duvet covers, to hand made jewellery and candles.

Choose from many restaurants up the road. There's a Dros, Rigoletto and Debonaires pizza, Nando's, Chinese restaurant, and Boston BBQ with a wide range of wild life buffet.
